the ice cold shining city
I made this piece in an artjournal, using all sort of media like ink, markers, acrylic paint, acryla gouache and more.
Making it I kept wondering what it was about. And about what time of the year it was representing. Summer? Springtime? None seemed to fit.
This morning I stepped outside. The weather was very bright and it was very cold. The garden looked beautiful with its frosted plants. Everything was turned into white and pastel colors. And then I knew what this piece of art is about: it tells about ice, frost, cold and a very bright sun and how all this melts together in beauty.
