Tomorrow is Father’s day in The Netherlands. This is a portrait of my dad. I guess you can see that I didn’t make this image after the reality. But still, who cares. There are some aspects in it that are definitely Dad. Like the fact that he loved to laugh and would always wear a hat. His favourite color was burgundy, so I gave him a background in that color. Also, he loved to wear a bowtie. That gave the impression that he was always on his way to or coming back from a party. But most of all he loved us all very much.
We still miss you, Dad!
