‘last bit of paint’, drawing/painting in a sketchbook
When making art there are always left-overs, small dots of paint still wet, ready to be used. I never want to throw them away, because I believe that somewhere in that small amount of color a picture can be hiding. A face, an animal, a tree, whatever. So I always empty my brush and palette on a new piece of paper. I will find out later what they are meant to be. Here I found some ladies, maybe sisters, ready to go shopping.
